Travis Hise

Travis Hise joined Family Legal Advocacy Group, LLC in 2026 as a Senior Associate Attorney. He is a seasoned litigator with more than seven years of exclusive family law experience and has trained and practiced with some of the most respected family law firms in Anne Arundel, Howard, and Montgomery Counties.

A lifelong Maryland resident, Travis knew from an early age that he wanted to become an attorney after experiencing firsthand the impact divorce and custody disputes can have both on children and families. That experience continues to shape his compassionate yet strategic approach to family law and fuels his commitment to being a strong advocate for his clients during some of the most difficult periods of their lives.

Travis earned his Juris Doctor from University of Baltimore School of Law in 2018. During law school, he served as a student attorney in the Bronfein Family Law Clinic, where he gained valuable hands-on litigation and client advocacy experience. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies from McDaniel College in 2015, where he developed a strong foundation in advocacy, public service, and communication.

Travis understands the lasting emotional and financial effects family disputes can have on parents and children alike. He approaches every case with preparation, responsiveness, and a practical focus on protecting his clients’ long-term interests. A strong believer in client empowerment, Travis works closely with clients to ensure they are informed participants throughout the legal process by providing clear guidance on available options, likely outcomes, and strategic considerations.

Whenever possible, Travis strives to help clients resolve matters efficiently and amicably in order to minimize unnecessary conflict and expense; however, when litigation becomes necessary, he is a confident and determined courtroom advocate who fights to protect his clients and their families. Clients frequently praise Travis for his ability to listen, understand their unique circumstances, and provide thoughtful guidance with both compassion and strong advocacy. He believes that bringing humanity to the practice of family law helps clients move forward with confidence toward the next chapter of their lives.

Outside the office, Travis enjoys spending time with his family, including his golden retriever Tilly and his cat Ellie. He also enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors.
