Mr Trevor Ryan Ross

Trevor is a Midwestern transplant who has lived in Jacksonville for the past dozen years. He graduated from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, in 2002, where he played varsity basketball and double-majored in economics and communications. In 2005, he received his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Washington & Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia. After law school, Trevor was admitted to the Ohio bar in 2005. He practiced at a large firm in Columbus, Ohio, for three years as a corporate and transactional attorney.

In early 2009, Trevor moved to Jacksonville. For the next two years, he clerked in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida under The Honorable Jerry A. Funk and The Honorable Karen S. Jennemann. He then transitioned into the litigation world by joining Bank of America as in-house counsel, where eventually he became responsible for managing all defensive litigation for the Bank’s private wealth management line of business.

After nine years as in-house counsel, Trevor returned to private practice when he joined Fisher, Tousey, Leas & Ball in 2020. He has taken over as the new managing shareholder, and his role involves managing firm operations, maintaining positive client relationships, and seeking opportunities to drive new growth. His legal practice is focused on trust and estate litigation, disputes involving fiduciaries, and general business and commercial litigation.

Outside of Fisher, Tousey, Leas & Ball, Trevor serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Jacksonville City Rescue Mission, a local charity combating homelessness and addiction. Trevor is married to Meredith Ross, an appellate attorney, and they have three young children.
