Biography

Trey Hinkle is a passionate attorney focused on making sure he can serve his clients. Born and raised in Houston, Texas and the son of a lawyer, Trey has seen firsthand the value of helping those within our community.

Prior to Joining Abraham Watkins, Trey spent graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Business Administration from Baylor University. Realizing a passion for the legal field, Trey then attended Baylor Law School, one of the top practical law schools in the country and home to the notorious “practice court” program. While at Baylor Law, Trey was a competitor on multiple nationally ranked mock trial and moot court teams, a member of the Student Bar Association, President of his class, and ultimately won the Steve Dillard Practice Court Award. Ultimately Trey graduated from Baylor Law summa cum laude.

Trey began his time at Abraham Watkins while clerking under partner Mo Aziz where he gained insight into how to properly represent clients who have been wrongfully injured. After passing the bar exam, Trey joined Abraham Watkins full-time as a Junior Associate his practice centers on helping those in and around the community he grew up in.

In his free time, you can find Trey cheering on his Baylor Bears, running around in Memorial Park, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
