Biography

Tudor Jones is a partner in WSHB’s Sonoma County office, where he practices complex civil litigation focusing on matters involving construction, professional liability, land use, business litigation, mass transit, medical malpractice, elder abuse, and catastrophic injury and wrongful death. In addition to his litigation practice, Tudor also provides counsel to cannabis startups and has experience working within regulatory frameworks across multiple industries. Prior to practicing law, Tudor worked as a financial services strategy consultant where he served C-level executives from dozens of Fortune 500 companies. In 2015, he presented a guest lecture at the University of San Francisco School of Law on the causes of the 2008 financial crisis, as well as the emergence of “FinTech” and its potential impacts on consumer protections and regulatory frameworks within the area of banking law.

Tudor graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law, where he served on the boards of Golden Gate University’s Law Review (as Editor-in-Chief) and Moot Court, and attained clerkships at the California Public Utilities Commission and the Environmental Law and Justice Clinic. Tudor also earned the distinction of representing his school at the Pace National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition and, upon graduating, was presented with membership to the National Order of Scribes for excellence in legal writing.

Prior to attending law school, Tudor received his B.A. in Poetry at UCLA and spent a summer at London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, where he studied and performed Shakespearean comedy. He is a North Bay native who spent endless weekends as a youngster in Sebastopol playing youth soccer and may be regularly seen driving within the speed limit on the back roads of west Sonoma County.
