Biography


Originally from the Joplin, MO, area, Tyler is a self-proclaimed “converted Oklahoman” after attending law school at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While a law student at OU, Tyler received American Jurisprudence awards for Civil Procedure I and Legal Research and Writing I and II. Tyler also successfully participated in appellate advocacy competitions, winning OU Law’s 1st year law student moot court competition, and then competing regionally and nationally in the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition. Tyler also served as a Note Editor for the American Indian Law Review and at the end of his tenure at OU Law, Tyler was inducted into the prestigious Order of the Barristers for his achievements in appellate advocacy.
