Tyler Jay Isaacson is an Associate in the firm's Jacksonville office. Before embarking on his journey to become a lawyer, Mr. Isaacson enlisted and served on active duty in the Marine Corps for 8 Honorable years as an amphibious assault vehicle crewman from 2008-2016. During that time, he was deployed twice, once to Afghanistan serving on a Battalion Commanders Personal Security Detachment, in which he was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for exemplary performance of his duties. Mr. Isaacson was also deployed aboard a Naval Troop Carrier ship and traveled across the Pacific and Middle east training various countries' militaries. During that time, his troop conducted anti-piracy operation off the Coast Somalia. The last of his military highlights was in Mongolia in which his troop conducted UN peacekeeping training with multiple different nations. Mr. Isaacson finished his active service training the new officers and senior enlisted in combat operations and his respective occupational skill. After active duty service, he worked an additional 3 years for the Marine Corps as a private contractor. It was during this time that he decided to become an attorney.

While working full time as a private contractor, Mr. Isaacson also attended Cal State San Marcos full-time and received his B.A. with a 3.66 GPA. He attained this GPA not only while working full-time but while managing 5 kids between his wife and him, the last 2 being born during his undergrad.

After finishing undergrad, Mr. Isaacson applied and was accepted into various law schools. With his family, they decided that they wanted to live in the Jacksonville area, so he attended Florida Coastal School of Law, the only law school close enough.

Mr. Isaacson started his career as an intern at Cole, Scott & Kissane in October 2020. During this time, he worked part-time, attended and finished law school full time, and maintained his family life. Since October 2020, he has worked in Insurance Defense. Largely due to his military background, Mr. Isaacson says he will continue to come to the defense of his fellow Americans.
