Biography

Tyler L. Fugitt is the Managing Partner at Iseley | Fugitt in Jacksonville, FL, specializing in commercial and construction litigation. He earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University’s College of Business in 2010, followed by his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law, with a Certificate in Business Law, in 2014. He also holds an M.B.A. from Jacksonville University’s Davis College of Business, where he graduated summa cum laude and received the prestigious 2014 Outstanding Student Award, recognizing him as the top student in his MBA program.

Mr. Fugitt was admitted to the Florida Bar and the Middle District of Florida in 2015. He focuses his practice on a wide range of legal areas, including commercial litigation, construction litigation, contracts, real estate, construction liens, payment and performance bond litigation, commercial liability insurance defense, business transactions, business formation, construction project guidance, and construction industry licensure. He has significant experience handling complex multimillion-dollar construction defect cases and class action lawsuits.

Throughout his career, Mr. Fugitt has served a diverse client base across Florida, ranging from small businesses and entrepreneurs to large corporations, including developers, contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, real estate firms, condominium and homeowners associations, material suppliers, and many others within the construction industry. His extensive knowledge in business, finance, accounting, construction, and litigation provides him with a unique skill set that has been continually tested and proven in his practice.

A committed member of the Northeast Florida Builder’s Association (NEFBA), the National Underground Contractors Association (NUCA), and the St. Johns Builder’s Council, Mr. Fugitt actively supports and leads various local trade and leadership organizations. He co-founded NEFBA’s Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) in 2019 and has held numerous leadership roles within these organizations.

Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Fugitt lives in the San Marco area of Jacksonville with his wife and two children. Together, they enjoy traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.
