Biography

Uzma Jamil is an Associate in the firm's Fort Lauderdale East office who focuses her practice on insurance defense litigation, including premises liability, general liability, automobile negligence, and personal injury defense. She represents clients throughout all stages of litigation, from pre-suit investigations to trial preparation, providing strategic legal counsel to insurers, corporations, and individuals.

Ms. Jamil earned her Bachelor of Science in History and Political Science from Nova Southeastern University in 2020 before attending Florida International University College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor degree in 2023. During law school, Ms. Jamil was an Articles Editor for the FIU Law Review and an active member of the Women’s Law Association and Muslim Lawyers Association.
