Vanessa Muños joined Mastagni and Holstedt as an associate in the Labor Department. She represents public safety employees in administrative and disciplinary investigations, hearings, critical incident investigations and criminal defense matters.

In Law school , she was an extern for the Orange County Public Defender’s office siding in juvenile matters and an intern for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, aiding the gang unit.

Prior to joining the firm, Vanessa was an attorney with a small criminal defense practice representing clients throughout many counties in Southern California. With over 16 years of experience, she has represented clients during the investigation and prosecution of misdemeanor and felony accusations including DUI, battery, fraud, domestic disputes, theft offenses, drug offenses, sexually related offenses, and murder . She also has extensive experience handling administrative licensing hearings with the DMV.
