Biography

In his nearly 40 years years of trial experience, attorney Victor Farrugia is known by both clients and peers for his integrity and dedication to excellent legal representation. He has earned an AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell®, the highest recognition possible in the legal industry, for his professionalism and ethics. He was also a Super Lawyer in 2007 and New Orleans magazine selected him as a top lawyer in employment and civil rights law.

A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, attorney Farrugia is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He has practiced in the area of employment law for more than 20 years. He has obtained many jury verdicts on behalf of employees and has extensive appellate experience.

Since 1990, he has been a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA). He is the founder of the Louisiana Employment Lawyers Association (LELA) and is the past Chair of the Labor and Employment Section of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
