Biography

Vincent S. Oleskiewicz regularly advises clients in the area of environmental law, including all aspects of domestic and international environmental regulation, permitting and compliance, environmental issues in real estate transactions, dispute resolution, and corporate transactional matters.

During the course of his 30-year career, Vincent has litigated environmental matters that include CERCLA/Superfund actions and private and governmental cost recovery actions, RCRA litigation, groundwater contamination, and toxic tort cases. He has represented corporate clients in administrative proceedings before local, state, and federal environmental agencies and in complex environmental litigation in state and federal courts. Vince regularly provides environmental compliance counseling and guidance to manufacturing and construction companies, as well as in real estate and corporate transactions with regard to all aspects of federal and state environmental regulations and requirements, including air emissions, water usage and discharge, soil impacts, and waste disposal in the context of manufacturing, operations, construction, real estate ownership, and acquisition. He also advises clients on appropriate due diligence requirements in acquisitions and divestitures of real estate and avoidance of potential environmental liability.

Vince has been involved in several energy projects, advising clients on appropriate regulatory requirements associated with permitting, water acquisition, land use regulation, and obtaining the appropriate permits necessary for project implementation.

Over the past 10 years, Vince has delivered several Continuing Legal Education presentations to in-house counsel at multinational Fortune 50 companies on environmental issues of relevance, including environmental due diligence standards, the drafting of purchase agreements and leases to best protect against environmental liability, vapor intrusion, fracking, soil, air, and groundwater contamination issues, and the most efficient and practical solution to potentially complex environmental problems facing the regulated community.
