Vinny Venkat

Originally from Northern Virginia, Vinny earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and began to work in the field of software development. Over time, he grew increasingly interested in antitrust law, driven by a desire to address the power imbalances that he observed within the tech industry. This passion inspired a career pivot, culminating in the completion of his Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law.

Vinnys legal experience includes serving as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable James A. Soto at the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. Before joining Keller Rohrback, Vinny served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Antitrust & Privacy Unit at the Arizona Attorney Generals Office, where he litigated state and federal antitrust laws. During his tenure, he investigated and prosecuted violations ranging from a retail merger to monopolization by a large technology company and led a groundbreaking enforcement effort related to the Arizona Genetic Information Privacy Act.

In his free time, Vinny enjoys running, including participating in marathons. He is also an avid cook with a passion for Indian cuisine and loves spending quality time with his wife and dog.
