Virginia Floyd is a partner at the Hood Law Firm, LLC. She focuses her practice on matters related to insurance coverage and related bad faith litigation, products liability, trust, fiduciary and probate litigation and other complex litigation in both state and federal court.

Virginia is a contributing author to Insurance Bad Faith: A Primer on the Law in South Carolina (2022) and has also contributed to The Defense Line, the publication of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association (SCDTAA). She was recognized as one of SCDTAA’s Emerging Leaders in 2021.

Prior to joining Hood Law Firm, Virginia served as law clerk to the Honorable Letitia H. Verdin of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Greenville, South Carolina. She is admitted to practice in both state and federal South Carolina courts.
