Biography

W. Christopher Freiberg grew up in Northwest Indiana and earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, majoring in journalism with a minor in religious studies. He worked as a journalist in Indiana, Alaska, and Arkansas before pursuing his legal education at Valparaiso University Law School. During law school, he gained valuable experience as a member of the law review and moot court and externed for two federal judges, focusing on Social Security Disability appeals. After being admitted to the Illinois bar in 2015, Christopher joined a firm specializing in disability applications for police officers and firefighters across the state. Outside of work, he enjoys writing, watching movies, and spending time with his family and dog.
