Biography

Mr. Griffin was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 17, 1945. He attended Tulane University of Louisiana, graduated in 1967. He is a 1970 graduate of the Wayne State University School of Law. Mr. Griffin was 1st Lieutenant in the JAGC, U.S. Air Force between 1970-1972. He is the recipient of the 2001 Michigan Trial Lawyers Association Respected Advocate Award for Defense Counsel and 2007 Distinguished Case Evaluator of the Year from the Genesee County Bar Association. Mr. Griffin maintains a Martindale-Hubbell® AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rating, the highest possible rating for an attorney for both ethical standards and legal ability. Mr. Griffin maintains a general practice, including personal injury law, mediation, business law and general litigation.
