Wes Crawford: Attorney with Preszler Injury Lawyers

Biography

Originally from London, Ontario, Wes moved to Halifax in 2019, after obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Studies from St. Francis Xavier University. He made the decision to pursue his legal education at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie and received his Juris Doctor in 2024, now calling Nova Scotia home. Wes became involved with Dalhousie’s Legal Aid Clinic during his time at Schulich, where he gained a strong appreciation for the importance of making justice accessible to everyone.

Wes articled at Preszler before joining the firm as an associate following his call to the Nova Scotia bar in June 2025. His focus is establishing open and honest communication with his clients, paired with zealous advocacy. Wes thrives to make each client’s legal claim a welcoming and approachable experience, particularly for clients interacting with the legal system for the first time.

When he is not at the office, Wes tries to spend as much time as he can outdoors enjoying Nova Scotia’s beautiful hiking trails and beaches. He is actively involved in Halifax’s squash and bouldering communities. Wes also keeps in touch with his jazz background as an avid listener of local jazz and other live music, at times joining in on the tenor saxophone.
