Biography

Whitney focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions, serving as counsel to REITs, buyers, sellers and developers in financing, acquisitions, construction, dispositions and sale leaseback transactions across all property types nationwide. She also counsels clients on drafting and negotiating commercial leases, including ground leasing, retail, restaurant, industrial and office leasing.

As a former commercial litigator, Whitney brings a unique perspective to transactions and can prioritize what is important. She has litigated contract, regulatory and employment disputes in key industries including construction, real estate, gaming, education, business, healthcare and hospitality. This experience allows Whitney to quickly mitigate and communicate risk at the deal stage.
