Biography

William B. Baggett Jr., who goes by Billy, grew up following in his father’s footsteps. As a child, he would tell people that he wanted to be either a preacher or a lawyer. He believed both professions to be ones held by intellectuals which is how he wanted to be seen.

Billy is named after his father, William Baggett who was one of the founding members of the firm back in 1958. If you were to ask Billy which case he is most proud of, he would probably tell you about the time he helped get the Louisiana Supreme Court to change how it handles cases related to asbestos illnesses such as mesothelioma and asbestosis.
