Will McAllister is a partner at Williams Barber & Morel LTD. in the firm’s commercial litigation group. Mr. McAllister joined the firm in 2017 and focuses his practice on complex business disputes involving breach of contract, tort, professional liability, and securities litigation.Will spent the first three years of his legal career working for federal judges at the trial and appellate levels. That experience taught him what it takes to successfully try cases to verdict and then sustain the verdict on appeal. As an associate for the firm, Will has second-chaired jury and bench trials around the Midwest and guided clients to win their disputes being heard by state and federal courts, arbitrators, and mediators.

Representative Matters: Represented a hospital that hired a software consulting company to implement a new enterprise resource planning system after the consulting company implemented the software incorrectly. Obtained a jury verdict in favor of the hospital in excess of one million dollars and settlements to compensate the hospital for its losses.;Defended a homebuilder from a trio of lawsuits filed by a real estate brokerage, an engineering company, and a real estate developer arising from the homebuilder's purchase and development of a commercial parcel. The homebuilder was found not liable to the real estate brokerage on summary judgment, not liable to the engineering company after a bench trial, and the judgment entered in favor of the real estate developer was subsequently vacated after appeal.;Represented a hospital that purchased and installed revenue cycle software that caused millions of dollars in losses in an arbitration that resulted in a favorable settlement that compensated the hospital and allowed the hospital to transition to a replacement software system.;Represented a public consulting company enforcing restrictive covenants arising from its contracts with its employees and acquisitions of smaller businesses.;Defended an insurance broker who failed to procure adequate life insurance for his customer and settled the matter during trial without any out-of-pocket cost to the broker.;Defended a real estate lender in a class action lawsuit and obtained a settlement before the class was certified and without paying any money to the plaintiff.;Represented an individual in a legal malpractice lawsuit against the individual's former attorney who failed to properly prosecute the individual's personal injury claims.
