Biography

Bill Cipriani graduated from West Virginia University in 1980 with a B.S. in Journalism. He received his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law in 1983. Upon admission to the West Virginia Bar Association, Bill began practicing law under mentor G. Charles Hughes of Moundsville, WV, where he was able to develop and refine his trial advocacy and litigation skills.

In 1985, he left Moundsville for Wellsburg and formed the law firm of Cipriani & Paull, L.C. with Christopher J. Paull, with whom he practiced for 20 years. Paull retired from the law firm in 2006 and the name of the law firm was changed to Cipriani Law Offices, L.C. Martindale-Hubbell has rated this small firm BV Distinguished, and the firm has earned a local reputation as a source for dependable, expert legal representation.

Bill is married to Cathy Cipriani of Wellsburg, WV. He has two sons, 23 and 19, and two stepsons, 21 and 15.
