WIlliam Dillon

William Dillon is a seasoned criminal defense attorney with over 25 years of experience in the criminal justice system, specializing in DUI cases, traffic offenses, and a wide range of criminal matters. As a former Senior Chief Deputy District Attorney in the Denver District Attorney's Office, William brings an insider's perspective to his clients, having prosecuted thousands of cases from the other side of the courtroom. Prior to working at the DA’s office William was a clerk for several District Court Judges and Magistrates so he knows how the Courts work.

Throughout his distinguished career as a prosecutor, William completed more than 200 misdemeanor and felony trials, including high-stakes cases involving Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Driving While Ability Impaired (DWAI), Vehicular Assault, Homicide, Sexual Assault, Theft, Kidnapping, Speeding, and Careless Driving. His extensive trial experience has honed his skills in courtroom strategy, evidence analysis, and negotiation, making him exceptionally comfortable and effective in high-pressure legal environments.

William graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in communications in 1996 and then obtained his Law Degree from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law in 2002. He has lived in Colorado with his family since 1996.
