Biography

Partner William Remphrey has over 25 years of experience representing insured and self-insured entities in all facets of casualty litigation. He is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Bill represents a variety of local, regional, and national companies in various construction litigation matters, including construction defects, contractor liability, work site accidents, premises liability, automobile and trucking, environmental issues, stormwater and runoff compliance, riparian rights, and consumer protection claims.

Bill’s expertise includes premises liability and motor vehicle accident litigation. He represents businesses and homeowners in various premises liability matters and auto and trucking litigation. His practice also includes the defense of, and consultation with, insurance carriers in uninsured/underinsured motorist, first-party benefits, and other coverage matters.

Over his nearly 30-year career, Bill has tried dozens of jury and bench trials throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has extensive experience litigating matters in Philadelphia County, one of the nation’s most challenging venues for defendants.

Bill has lectured clients and insurance carriers on various topics, including contractual indemnification, joint and several liability, automobile and trucking litigation, the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility Law, and other topics relevant to his practice.

Bill is a certified arbitrator in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
