Biography

Will Shanahan graduated from George Mason School of Law in 2000 and began building a career focused on litigation throughout Virginia. Over the years, he developed extensive experience in insurance defense, ultimately managing teams of attorneys and handling a wide variety of complex cases. Will has conducted hundreds of bench trials and numerous jury trials across Northern Virginia, Southeast Virginia, and parts of central eastern Virginia, earning a reputation for his strong courtroom presence and steady, practical approach to problem-solving.

Will now practices at Morgan and Morgan’s Washington, DC office, where he represents individuals in personal injury and car accident cases. He brings decades of trial experience to the firm and is committed to helping clients navigate difficult moments with clarity and confidence. Outside of his legal work, Will enjoys spending time with his wife Kathrine, their young son, and their adult children. His hobbies include weightlifting, Krav Maga, and Japanese Ju Jitsu, interests that reflect his discipline and dedication both inside and outside the courtroom.
