William Joseph Anderson

William J. Anderson joined Meenan P.A., as an Associate in 2017. Mr. Anderson focuses his practice on service contract, warranty, and insurance regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining Meenan, P.A., Mr. Anderson was an associate at a full-service statewide law firm, where he clerked as a law school student, in Tallahassee where he focused on complex commercial litigation, trust and probate litigation, and other areas of the firm’s multifaceted practice.

Mr. Anderson received his Bachelor of Science in Risk Management/Insurance and Economics, cum laude, from Florida State University in 2013, where he completed a semester internship with a national independent wholesale insurance brokerage firm.

He received his Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law, magna cum laude, in 2016, and was subsequently inducted into Order of the Coif, the nation’s only national legal honor society reserved for those graduating in the top ten percent of their class.

During law school, Mr. Anderson served as Judicial Extern to the Honorable Mark E. Walker, United States District Judge for the Northern District of Florida. He also served as law clerk in Florida’s Executive Office of the Governor, Office of the General Counsel, and in the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation. During law school, Mr. Anderson was a member of the Law Review, the flagship legal journal of the Florida State University College of Law. He received Books Awards in Evidence and Complex Litigation for earning the highest grade in those classes, and also received a Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award.

Mr. Anderson is a Member of the Florida Bar, and is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts.
