Biography

For over a decade, Mr. Stevens has helped his clients navigate complex legal matters. He has personally handled hundreds of cases involving everything from civil litigation (both state and federal) to intellectual property and wage disputes to criminal defense, divorce, and immigration. His expansive legal career is bolstered by a varied background in electrical engineering, software, and security. From this background, he holds a registered U.S. copyright for electrical load calculations.

Mr. Stevens first obtained experience in the area of family law while still in law school. He participated in a law school clinic during his second year at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law), where he completed his first divorce case. During his time there, he also served as a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, Symposium Editor of the Law Review, and a member of Phi Delta Phi. He was one of only six published law review authors.

Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Stevens began his legal career by serving as ad litem for numerous probate cases in Tarrant County. He went on to obtain experience as a felony and misdemeanor criminal defense attorney, as well as a skilled immigration lawyer. He began his immigration practice by handling H-2A visa applications before ultimately expanding to take on family- and employment-based visa applications, consular processing, citizenship and naturalization, DACA, VAWA, deportation defense, and asylum.

Mr. Stevens is admitted to practice in Texas. He is admitted to practice in Texas’s Northern, Southern, and Eastern District federal courts, as well as the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and the DOJ’S EOIR Immigration Courts.
