Admitted to the State Bar in 1986 (Bar No. 4308), William M. Tiano is a highly regarded personal injury attorney based in Charleston and known throughout West Virginia. A Marshall University alumnus, he earned his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law in 1986 and is admitted to practice in West Virginia state and federal courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Mr. Tiano has successfully represented thousands of clients in negligence, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, and wrongful death matters, earning recognition as a West Virginia Super Lawyer and inclusion among the Top 100 Trial Lawyers. Whether negotiating with insurers or litigating complex cases, he combines rigorous legal skill with compassionate advocacy to secure fair compensation and accountability. Active in the legal community, Mr. Tiano lectures at seminars and serves on the Board of Directors of the West Virginia Association for Justice; he is also a member of the ABA and the American Association for Justice.
