Yandy Reyes, Esq.

Attorney Yandy Reyes built his career on service, discipline, and making the law more approachable. He is the first in his family to graduate from college and law school, the first to serve as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army, and the first to become an attorney. At John Jay College, CUNY, he balanced work and academics while graduating with honors and maintaining a 3.93 GPA, and he pursued rigorous martial arts training, earning a black belt in Goyu Karate and a brown belt in Judo. In law school, he received recognition for top performance in Elder Law and Legal Profession, experiences that shaped both his practice interests and his dedication to ethics. Through a fellowship with Legal Aid, he witnessed the real-world impact of limited access to justice, which helped motivate him to found Re:Yes Law PLLC. Attorney Reyes later handled hundreds of cases in New York State courts, including conferences, motions, trials, and settlements, building a strong understanding of litigation and the pressures clients face, especially those without counsel. Combined with nine years as an Army National Guard artillery officer and two Army Achievement Medals, his background supports a practical, solutions-focused style. He aims to run an accessible firm where clients speak with their attorney and stay informed.
