Yesenia Acosta

As the founding attorney of Mundo Legal, in San Bernardino, California, Yesenia Acosta has focused her practice on the complexities of immigration law.

She handles a wide range of legal matters, including family-based immigration, deportation defense, and asylum. Driven by a personal understanding of the challenges immigrants face, she is passionate about making the law accessible and transparent to all. She gained experience within criminal law and civil law matters before focusing entirely on immigration law over the last several years.

Ms. Acosta graduated from the University of California, San Diego. She proceeded to earn her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 2012. In law school, she worked on expanding a community legal clinic that offers free legal services to communities without legal access. Ms. Acosta was admitted to The State Bar of California in 2013.

Ms. Acosta represents clients in a wide range of immigration matters, including family-based immigration, adjustment of status, consular processing, waivers, naturalization, and deportation defense. She is known for her meticulous case preparation, clear communication, and unwavering advocacy on behalf of her clients.

Ms. Acosta represents immigration clients in different states in the U.S., as it falls under federal law.
