Yohania Teresa Santana

Yohania T. Santana is an Associate at Zumpano Patricios. She earned her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law, where she graduated with honors. As a law student, Ms. Santana participated in the Family Law Externship Program where she gained practical litigation experience by representing survivors of domestic violence under the supervision of a Dade Legal Aid Senior Staff Attorney. She received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for achieving the highest grade in the Family Externship Program. Ms. Santana was a member of the Moot Court Board where she competed in the STU Law Intramural Moot Court Competition and the Jerome Prince Memorial Evidence Competition.

Prior to joining Zumpano Patricios, Ms. Santana worked as a Staff Attorney at Dade Legal Aid, in the Domestic Violence Unit, where she managed a large caseload specializing in domestic violence and family law matters.
