Biography

Youssef Hammoud is driven by a deep commitment to consumer protection, inspired by personal experiences growing up in an immigrant family subjected to unlawful debt collection practices and credit reporting errors. Witnessing the impact of these issues firsthand, he developed a passion for helping individuals navigate complex challenges related to credit and debt. Youssef earned both his law degree and MBA, demonstrating academic excellence and passing the California bar exam during one of its most competitive years. Prior to founding The Credit Attorney, Inc., he advocated for consumer rights at a leading national law firm. Today, Youssef leverages his extensive knowledge of consumer protection law to educate and fiercely represent his clients against credit bureaus, debt collectors, and financial institutions. Outside of his practice, he values time with his wife and three daughters, whose experiences continue to inspire his dedication to justice and client advocacy.
