Biography

Anita Wu advises on fund formation and structuring matters, representing private equity sponsors, fund managers and investors across Asia. Her practice covers private equity fund formation, fund financing, licensing, offering and marketing of private and retail funds, and ongoing legal and regulatory compliance. Anita has advised on Delaware and Cayman fund structures for real estate and technology-focused funds targeting Southeast Asian markets. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Anita practiced at leading law firms in Hong Kong and Taiwan, where she handled a wide range of cross-border corporate transactions. She has substantial experience in initial public offerings and secondary listings in Hong Kong, and has guided private equity funds and their portfolio companies on pre-IPO restructurings and post-listing compliance matters. Anita also counseled private equity funds, strategic buyers, and financial investors on venture capital investments, series financings, SAFEs, asset acquisitions and joint venture formations.
