Biography

Mr. Han’s practice focuses on Intellectual property and dispute resolution. As judge of the Collegiate Bench, Mr. Han has tried over 2,000 IP cases involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, unfair competition, know-how contracts, and trade secrets. As the host of the Patent Collegiate Bench, Mr. Han specializes in IP dispute resolution, ranging over diverse technology fields. Among them, over ten cases, including Beijing-Olympic-Torch-related art” patent infringement case, “chair of 4D cinema patent infringement case”, “Kong Fu Panda” trademark infringement case, “Kaixin” unfair competition case, and pre-trial injunction for “The Wolf Falls for the Sheep” concert, were nominated as the top ten IP protection cases by China Court, top ten IP cases by Beijing Higher People’s Court, top ten IP innovative cases of Beijing Higher People’s Court, and typical IP cases by the Supreme People’s Court for their significant influence and clear analysis of basic legal issues.

While serving as the litigation head and intellectual property consultant at famous Intellectual Property Agency and law firms, he provided consulting advice and handled dispute resolution cases with respect to intellectual property for many well-known enterprises and new-edge technology companies. Mr. Han has represented a top internet company in an unfair competition case, successfully obtained in-trial injunction and won the case. He has also represented a famous internet company initiating the “first case” for infringement of GUI design patent.

Mr. Han is crowned as “2019 IPR Most Influential Icon” by the GIPC (Global Intellectual Property Convention).

Working Experience

Mr. Han has been practicing lawyer since 2002 and served in the IP Tribunal of Beijing as chief judge, leader of the complex technology case panel, and first judge of the Patent Collegiate Bench from 2005 to 2014. Afterwards, Mr. Han served as litigation head and IP consultant at a well-known IP agency, Run Ming Law Office and PwC legal successively. Mr. Han joined AnJie Broad at the beginning of 2021.
