Zacary E. Wilson-Fetrow: Attorney with James Wood Law

Biography

Zacary Wilson-Fetrow is a lawyer who truly loves the "why" behind the law. Since graduating from the University of New Mexico Law School in 2021, Zacary has moved quickly from an associate to the managing attorney at James Wood Law. With three bachelor’s degrees in history, psychology, and cultural heritage, Zacary brings a deep, well-rounded perspective to every case. In law school, Zacary was even voted “most likely to sue everyone,” a nod to a relentless pursuit of justice that has since translated into litigating over 40 cases and spending more than 30 days in trial. Beyond the courtroom, Zacary is a scholar at heart, handling the firm’s complex appeals and briefing both the New Mexico and U.S. Supreme Courts. When not practicing law, Zacary serves in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and dives into the history of numismatics. Whether it’s researching social justice or advocating for the defenseless, Zacary’s work is driven by a sincere oath to never turn away from those who need help the most. It’s this combination of academic rigor and trial-tested grit that makes Zacary such a vital part of our legal team.
