Biography

Zac Fry knows exactly how the prosecution thinks because he used to be one of them. After earning his law degree from the Charlotte School of Law and clerking for a Circuit Judge, Zac served as an Assistant Solicitor in the 16th Circuit’s DUI Unit. During his time there, he prosecuted over 400 DUI cases, gaining firsthand insight into the specific tactics the State uses to secure convictions. Today, he uses that high-level training to protect the rights of those facing DUI, DUAC, and felony charges across South Carolina. Zac believes that a charge is not a conviction. He understands that the burden of proof rests entirely on the State, and he meticulously deconstructs their evidence to build a powerhouse defense. Recognized as one of the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40, Zac is a dedicated member of the National College for DUI Defense. He emphasizes the importance of acting quickly, especially regarding license suspensions, so you don’t have to face the legal system alone. If you want an advocate who has seen both sides of the courtroom and knows how to win, Zac is the person you want in your corner.
