Zach Lyons is the founder of Lyons Legal Group in Providence, Rhode Island, where he leads a growing team focused on immigration solutions for physicians, healthcare professionals, and the employers who recruit them.
Zach has handled hundreds of employment-based and family-based immigration cases, with particular depth in the visa categories that matter most to healthcare organizations — including J-1 waivers, Conrad 30 state programs, H-1B petitions and cap exemptions, EB-1A extraordinary ability petitions, EB-2 National Interest Waivers, and PERM labor certification. He works closely with hospitals, physician recruitment firms, and healthcare systems across New England to ensure their international medical professionals can focus on patient care rather than immigration uncertainty.
Immigration law was never an abstract career choice for Zach. His grandmother immigrated to the United States from Denmark — a family story that shaped how he sees the courage and complexity behind every immigration journey. Growing up playing soccer, he was surrounded by teammates and families who had come to the U.S. from around the world. Their stories stayed with him. Before law school, he taught English in Chile, deepening his understanding of what it means to navigate life across borders and languages.
Zach earned his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2017 and is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He is regularly recognized as a prominent immigration attorney in Rhode Island.
Whether you are a physician navigating a J-1 waiver, a hospital building an international recruitment pipeline, or a healthcare organization looking for reliable immigration counsel, Zach and his team bring the specialized knowledge and responsiveness that high-stakes immigration cases demand.
Lyons Legal Group is located at 225 Dyer Street in Providence, Rhode Island.
