Biography

Zachary K. Shikada joined Kobayashi Sugita & Goda in 2022. He focuses his law practice in commercial litigation, civil rights litigation, and liquor law.

Education

Mr. Shikada earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa William S. Richardson School of Law in 2022, where he served as a Staff Writer and Technical Editor for the University of Hawai‘i Law Review. While in law school, he worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable James H. Ashford in the Circuit Court of the First Circuit, State of Hawai‘i. During his studies, Mr. Shikada earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legislation and Statutory Interpretation.

Prior to law school, Mr. Shikada graduated from ‘Iolani School, earned a B.A. in History from Santa Clara University, and received his M.Ed. in Education Leadership from Chaminade University.

Mr. Shikada is a member of the Hawai‘i State Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in the all state and federal courts in the State of Hawai‘i.
