Biography

Zachary O. Bazara represents buyers and sellers, lenders and borrowers, developers and builders, landlords and tenants in connection with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leasing, title insurance, and complex commercial financing. He handles matters relating to every phase of the acquisition, disposition and financing of commercial real estate, including title and survey review and preparation and negotiation of related transactional and financing documents.

Zachary is experienced in negotiating triple net and industrial gross leases for office, retail, and industrial space, as well as related documents, such as brokerage agreements, leasing and property management agreements, assignment and assumption agreements, subordination agreements and security agreements.

Experience: Representative Matters: Counsel to secured lender in $240 million multi-state loan facility.; Counsel to secured lender in $350 million multi-state loan facility.; Counsel to life insurance company in financing of properties throughout the United States, including, office, retail, industrial and mixed-use projects.; Counsel to national retailers in their leasing matters throughout the United States.; Counsel to landlords and tenants in shopping center, office and warehouse leasing.; Counsel to purchasers and sellers of shopping centers, office buildings, apartment buildings and mixed use projects.; Involved in representation of a domestic banking institution in connection with a $3.35 million construction revolver to finance construction of an 18,197 square foot office building, secured, in part, by real property located in Broward County, Florida.; Involved in representation of Terranova Corporation and its affiliate in one of the largest real estate deals in recent South Florida history, the $342 million acquisition of six separate buildings on Miami Beach's Lincoln Road.
