Biography

Zachary Cotter is a Pre-Suit Attorney in Morgan & Morgan’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office, where he represents clients in general liability matters. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, with Honors, from Lehigh University and his J.D. from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law.

Before joining Morgan & Morgan, Zachary gained valuable experience at a regional defense firm, where he handled matters involving medical malpractice, general liability, and auto claims. That background gives him a well-rounded understanding of how claims are evaluated and defended, which he now uses to advocate effectively for injured clients.

During law school, Zachary distinguished himself as a talented advocate and trial competitor. His honors include the Kline School of Law Trial Team Award for Excellence in Advocacy, recognition as a Regional Semifinalist in the 2025 American Association of Justice Trial Competition, Best Closing Argument at the 2024 Buffalo Niagara Trial Competition, and National Champion of UCLA’s 2023 The Verdict Trial Competition.

In his free time, Zach enjoys exploring Philadelphia and supporting women’s sports and athletes.
