Zishan Lokhandwala

Mr. Lokhandwala is a shareholder of the firm. He earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 2016 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, graduating summa cum laude in 2012.

Mr. Lokhandwala is licensed to practice law in two states, including California. He is also admitted to the bar of the United States Supreme Court, the federal Northern and Eastern District Courts of California and the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. He has extensive civil litigation experience at both the trial and appellate court levels, and experience with complex legal matters involving public employment law, constitutional law, corporate compliance, insurance coverage and real property law. He regularly attends City Council meetings as a Deputy City Attorney and assists various special districts as Deputy General Counsel.

During his time at UC Berkeley Law School, Mr. Lokhandwala served as Director of the Local Economies and Enterprise Program and the South Asian Law Students Association, as well as Associate Editor to one of UC Berkeley Law School’s premier law journals, and Co-Chairperson for the 2015 California Water Law Symposium.

Mr. Lokhandwala serves on the executive board of the Tulare County Bar Association, the steering committee for Central California Legal Service’s expansion of pro-bono services to Tulare and Kings Counties, the global advisory board for "Food Not Bombs" with autonomous chapters operating in approximately 1,000 cities across more than 65 countries, and is a member of Visalia’s County Center Rotary.
