Biography

Zoe Zhang is a technology, media, and telecommunications attorney with deep experience advising on complex commercial transactions and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions. Her practice spans technology transactions, payments and fintech, data privacy, and cybersecurity, with a particular focus on the media, sports, and entertainment sectors.

Zoe has advised on high-value, multijurisdictional and multi-year broadcasting agreements, sponsorship arrangements, and document suites for major sporting and entertainment events. She regularly drafts and negotiates licensing, media rights, and distribution agreements, as well as partnership, co-branding, and master services agreements for multinational clients.

She also advises on the technology aspects of corporate transactions, including joint ventures, M&A, and IPOs, with particular emphasis on intellectual property and digital assets. In addition, Zoe counsels on a wide range of data privacy and cybersecurity issues, including cross-border compliance, data governance, and incident response.

Zoe is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.
