R. Leland Evans is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. Mr. Evans has defended a wide variety of personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits involving motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, product liability, public utilities, premises liability, construction disputes, food and beverage liability, and professional negligence including medical, dental, pharmacy, and legal malpractice matters. He regularly defends railroads in Federal Employers’ Liability Act and public liability matters. Mr. Evans is also an active member of the firm's Workers’ Compensation Group.

Mr. Evans has appeared in many of Ohio’s state courts both at the trial court level and in the courts of appeal, has tried cases in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and has argued before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also has substantial training and experience as a mediator.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Evans was a partner at Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP where he was Chair of the Tort Litigation Practice Group and the Transportation and Logistics Practice Group.
