Biography

Jason's passion for the legal profession began in his small hometown of Sidney, Ohio, where he discovered his knack for effective arguments at a young age. Inspired by the desire to help others and armed with a newfound appreciation for the role of a lawyer, he embarked on a journey to pursue his dream of becoming an attorney.

After graduating from Sidney High School in 1998, Jason attended Wright State University, where he excelled academically and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with honors. During his time at Wright State, he had the unique opportunity to work at the esteemed law firm of Flanagan, Lieberman, Hoffman, and Swaim, gaining invaluable insight into the legal profession and forging meaningful connections within the court system.

Eager to continue his legal education, Jason enrolled at the University of Toledo College of Law to pursue his Juris Doctor degree. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for oral advocacy and persuasion as a member of the Moot Court team. His dedication and talent earned him a spot on the team and eventually led to his role as a coach and Vice Chairman of the program. Alongside his involvement in Moot Court, Jason honed his legal writing and caselaw interpretation skills and gained practical courtroom experience through internships and externships, including positions at the Cincinnati Prosecutor's Office and the Ohio Court of Appeals for the 6th district.

After successfully passing the bar exam, Jason returned to Dayton, a city that had come to feel like home, to pursue his legal career. Recognizing the invaluable experience it offered, he joined the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office in 2006. His tenure as a State Prosecutor not only deepened his legal knowledge and skills but also laid the foundation for his future success as a trial attorney.

In 2011, equipped with a wealth of experience and a burning entrepreneurial spirit, Jason established his own law practice. Since then, he has been serving clients with dedication, integrity, and unwavering commitment. With a strong foundation in trial advocacy, legal expertise, and a genuine desire to help others, Jason has built a thriving practice that continues to make a positive impact in the lives of his clients.
