Corporate and Business

The Corporate and Business Department provides diverse services to clients ranging from small, privately owned busi­nesses to national and publicly owned companies.

For both new and existing enterprises, we provide legal counsel for general business matters and draft and negotiate shareholder and partnership agreements, operating agree­ments, financing documents, employment agreements and various other contracts. We advise clients on appropriate structures for starting and carrying on business in view of all relevant considerations including tax issues, personal liability, potential growth and exit strategies.

Our corporate and business attorneys have extensive experience in handling corpo­rate and other business mergers, and sales and acquisitions of businesses, from the routine to the highly complex. Addition­ally, we offer a depth of experience in matters such as relationships with suppliers and customers, business aspects of professional practices and formation of various not-for-profit enterprises.
