CBM attorneys have been honored with Stakeholder 100 Awards, which are given to 100 of the most gifted associates of color in law firms throughout the United States. The awards were conceived by a consortium of General Counsels and other high-level legal officers from more than 40 of the world's largest corporations.

CBM has supported and adopted the diversity initiatives proposed by a number of different organizations including, among others, the Bar Association of San Francisco and the Contra Costa Bar Association. CBM and its attorneys are active members of many organizations committed to promoting diversity in the legal profession and our communities, including the Minority Corporate Counsel Association, the California Minority Counsel Program, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom, the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights, the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area, California Women Lawyers, the Queen’s Bench Bar Association, and many other organizations.  CBM has long provided benefits to domestic partners.
