Education Law

Our Education Law attorneys provide legal representation in the boardroom for meetings, the classroom for legal training, and the courtroom when litigation is necessary. We work directly with superintendents, school boards and administrators with representation that is responsive to the individual needs of the school district.

CGA has extensive experience in every area of education law including student discipline, special education, Employment Law, budgeting, taxation, school construction, Litigation and special counsel investigations.

The mission of the education law attorneys at CGA Law Firm is to provide professional and timely representation when and where a school district needs us. Whether they require legal representation in the boardroom for meetings, the classroom for legal training or the courtroom when litigation is necessary, our firm stands ready to assist school districts and other school entities. Because every district is unique, we work directly with superintendents, school boards, and administrators to ensure that we provide representation that is responsive to the individual needs of a school district. CGA has extensive experience in every area of education law including student discipline, special education, labor and employment law, budgeting, taxation, school construction, litigation and special counsel investigations.

Attorneys on CGA Law Firms’ education law team are active members of the Pennsylvania School Board Solicitor’s Association and the Council of School Attorneys of the National School Boards Association. The firm also regularly provides education law training for school leaders and publishes CGA School Law Snapshot, an e-newsletter providing concise updates regarding timely developments in education law.
