Education Law

Helping Educational Institutions Address Challenging Legal Matters
Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote’s Education Law Group represents public and private schools and colleges in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in civil rights, employment, special education, and tort litigation. While most of the Group’s work derives from educational insurers, Dickie McCamey attorneys also represent educators and institutions privately on a variety of litigation matters in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

At Dickie McCamey, we appreciate the tremendous pressures and unique demands educational institutions face on a daily basis. When problems and disputes surface, our lawyers work one-on-one with our clients to develop practical and cost-effective solutions. Although we are top-tier litigators capable of trying the most complicated cases in state and federal courts, we aim to resolve matters early on through negotiation, mediation, and arbitration when it is in our client’s best interest to do so.

Whether the issue at hand is routine or complex, the attorneys in our Education Law Group have the legal knowledge and industry insight clients need to operate in this highly challenging and ever-changing environment. Our educational clients also benefit from direct access to skilled lawyers across our firm’s diverse legal disciplines, including attorneys in our Construction Law Group and Employment and Labor Law Group.
