Workers' Compensation

Drew Eckl & Farnham was built on the legacy of Charlie Drew, a founding member of the firm. Charlie was a pioneer in workers’ compensation law dating back to the 1950s, with a stellar reputation and a client-focused approach that our firm carries on today.

The Largest Workers’ Compensation Practice in Georgia

Grounded in proactive diligence and professionalism, Drew Eckl & Farnham has grown its workers’ compensation practice to be one of the most well-regarded in the region. Our lawyers have the skill and experience to handle the most challenging cases, including catastrophic claims involving high exposure and complex medical issues. We frequently handle appeals to the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia, obtaining results that favorably impact not only our clients but all employers and insurers throughout the state.

Not only is ours the largest workers’ compensation practice in the state of Georgia, it’s also one of the most credible. The Mercer Law Review Annual Survey of Workers’ Compensation Law has been authored by members of our firm for almost three decades, as have nine editions of the Workers’ Compensation Desk Reference Manual. We are extremely active in the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia – including three past Chairs, and one current member of the executive committee. Several partners are active in the State Board’s Advisory Committee, as well as the planning committees for the regional and annual State Board of Workers’ Compensation educational events, including the first chair of the annual conference steering committee on ethics.

The Only Good Workers’ Compensation File is a Closed File

The defense attorneys at Drew Eckl & Farnham know that quickly and efficiently closing workers’ compensation cases is the paramount interest of the client. Our attorneys consistently provide clients with the best legal expertise in the field, while prioritizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

We are equipped to handle every aspect of any workers’ compensation case anywhere in the state of Georgia, and because of our frequent appearances throughout the state, every venue is a home venue where the judges and lawyers are familiar with our firm’s reputation for preparedness and diligence.
