• advising on the largest civil engineering dispute in Ireland, involving a number of parties and complex engineering and insurance issues. The dispute related to the design and construction of one of the most significant highways projects in Ireland. Issues include delay, allegations of defective drainage, piling design and payment
• representing a major developer in a multi-million-pound dispute regarding the design and construction of one of the most iconic buildings in the UK
• acting for a European engineering company in a dispute over the construction of the world’s largest man-made structure, designed to cover a destroyed reactor building
• representing the US subsidiary of a Spanish conglomerate dedicated to the development and management of infrastructure and renewable energy in a dispute with a construction company (also a subsidiary of a Spanish company) in an ICDR proceeding arising out of the construction of the East Side Access tunnel project in Manhattan. The dispute was settled successfully before hearing
• representing the subsidiary of one of the world’s leading industrial and systems manufacturers in a dispute with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The dispute concerned electrical work for a critical water filtration plant responsible for more than 10% of the city’s water supply, all under the largest single construction contract in city history
• representing the above client in three separate disputes with the DEP in connection to electrical work performed at waste water treatment facilities servicing the city
• defending a major highway contractor in connection to EPA allegations of Clean Water Act violations related to the disposal of construction project material
