Competition, EU and Trade

Eversheds Sutherland’s competition, EU and trade practices offer strategic advice and representation on national and global matters relating to competition and antitrust. We also advise and provide representation on all types of international trade and investment issues, including issues of EU law, the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), export controls, import relief, sanctions, anti-money-laundering and anti-corruption compliance. With lawyers throughout Asia, Europe and the US, we deliver a seamless, one-stop legal service.

We regularly handle the most complex behavioral and investigatory work (civil and criminal), as well as any ensuing litigation. Our areas of experience include merger control and joint ventures, cartel investigations, distribution arrangements, state aid and EU funding issues, procurement challenges, export control and sanctions, anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations, international trade law proceedings and negotiations, national regulation of foreign investment (including CFIUS reviews) and wider EU law and regulatory compliance issues. Combining extensive legal experience with in-depth local and international knowledge, our lawyers are on hand to help you.
