Prevailing Wage Compliance
We guide our clients through the complex web of state and federal government contractor prevailing wage requirements, including the Ohio Prevailing Wage Act, the Davis-Bacon Act, The Service Contract Act and related laws and regulations. We represent employers in administrative proceedings before the U.S. Department of Labor, the Ohio Department of Commerce and similar agencies in other states. We help employers develop strategies for preparing compliant certified payroll reports, utilizing appendices, accounting for fringe benefit credits, and maintaining required documentation. We represent employers in prevailing wage-related litigation in state and federal courts.
Minority, Female and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Programs
Federal, state and private contractor programs offering opportunities for minority, female and disadvantaged business enterprise continue to emerge, as do the complex eligiblity and application requirements for these programs. We assist companies in maintaining program certifications, and demonstrating good faith compliance efforts. We assist clients with inquiries from certifying agencies and in administrative proceedings.
